One year ago, there was a space I was in that I did not quite know how to define. I was going through a journey that felt dark, the destination unclear. However, one thing that I was certain of was that I was changing. Shedding old weights and anxieties. Building the strength and courage to take steps I wouldn’t have before. I was becoming more aware of the importance of process. Becoming less afraid of the reality of change. I was (and still am) in an ‘in between’ state. Coming out of the girl that I used to be, growing into the woman that I desire to become. Learning through it all to adhere to the Holy Spirit. As I spend time in the presence of God and seek Him through challenge, tribulation and even triumph, I am learning more and more ever day.
wheninbetween is not just a space where I blog. It is a place for me to reflect on lessons. It is a place for me to share those lessons. It is a space for me to express my love for writing.
I am Destiney McIntosh, author of wheninbetween. I love to write. I love the Lord and I hope to encourage others.
Scriptures that encourage me
‘For I know the plans I have for you’, declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’Jeremiah 29:11
But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither and they prosper in all they do.Psalms 1:2-3
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purposeRomans 8:28
