Go in peace

And he said to her, Daughter be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace. (Luke 8:48)

This was the Lord’s command to the woman with the issue of blood after she came forth as the one who touched Him in order to receive healing.

Immediately His power flowed through her, healing her instantly. Luke says, “Immediately her flow of blood stopped.”

I believe there was a blood transfusion. Jesus’s blood in replacement for hers. His blood her healing (thus why he felt power come out of Him).

But none the less, I want to focus on this command he gave her, “Daughter be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”

Jesus acknowledges something in the woman with the issue of blood. Her faith. He tells her that she can do certain things because of this faith: be of good cheer, and Go in peace. He also tells her that her faith has done something for her – made her well. That is the power of faith.

And I take this command and store it in my heart as a woman of faith in Christ Jesus. In times of worry, tribulation, even in joy I hear him say to me,

Daughter be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.

I have peace, joy, healing, in Him ❤
